Joshua Lavender studied English and began writing songs at Georgia College, where he twice won the Academy of American Poets University Prize, and then earned an M.F.A. from the University of Maryland. Recent poems appeared in Salvation South and Rust & Moth, and he was a finalist for the Orison Anthology Award in Poetry in 2020. Quibble, his speculative novel about transhumanism and Digital Age disembodiment, is published serially at singulardream.substack.com.
