We are thrilled to announce that Chelsea Carrick has joined the americana museum as our new Production Assistant for the weekly series Americana Stories.
Chelsea Carrick is a Queens-based freelance writer specializing in food, culture, and politics. Her work has been featured in publications such as Good Beer Hunting, NACLA, and Rest of World. Chelsea is a James Beard finalist for her reported feature “Waiting for the Rain — How Drought in Northern Mexico Impacts the Country’s Beer Industry.” Currently, she is researching food policy in the West.
Founded on the belief that every aspect of Americana, whether challenging or celebratory, deserves examination, the museum serves as a vital space for literary exploration.
The museum publishes three issues annually, in the winter, summer, and fall, and Americana Stories, a weekly feature of poetry and prose, reflecting its dedication to bringing fresh perspectives on the diverse layers of American life.
