The museum of americana is pleased to announce the release of Lisa Ampleman’s latest book, Mom in Space, available from LSU Press on January 31.
Ampleman’s essay, “Mae and Nichelle, in Space and On Earth,” first appeared in the museum’s Issue Twenty-Seven.

The museum publishes three issues annually, in the winter, summer, and fall, and Americana Stories, a weekly feature of poetry and prose, reflecting its dedication to bringing fresh perspectives on the diverse layers of American life.
